All official club competitions are shown in the annual diary which is circulated to the whole membership at the start of each calendar year.
Members may enter a competition by adding their name to the start sheet which is published in the Proshop 3 weeks prior to the competition start date.
The popular tee times for most competitions are in great demand and a number of competitions are oversubscribed. Members are therefore requested not to enter their name, or the names for other players, unless they are sure they can play. In the event that a member withdraws from a competition on the day of the competition or does not turn up without an adequate reason, the Competitions sub-committee may suspend such a player from future competitions for a period of time.
A brief history and format of the major club competitions is listed below. The dates when the competitions are played are contained in the club diary.
The winners and runners-up of all competitions for the current year and several preceding years are shown in the “Competitions Book” which is available for review in the foyer.
