In tribute - Robert Douglas Parsons know as Bob born 02.02.1928 in Cranbrook Kent. Only Child educated at Cranbrook School. Very keen Rugby and Cricketer who captained the schools first eleven at Both sports.

Joined the Army in 1944 posted to Egypt represented the Army at Cricket before being demobed .

Back in private life continued to play both Cricket and Rugby for various local clubs in London while undertaking his accountancy exams which he put as his main priority.

Married in 1952 had one child Colin.

Bob was keen on all sports following the Arsenal at Football, Wasps in Rugby, Wembley Lions in Speedway and his home county Kent in cricket he was also a regular visitor to Wembley when ever England played football.

A part time golfer who although enjoying the game but found it rather difficult to progress. Although he would say he could beat everybody he took on.

In later life was a keen bowler and could always be found at his local bowls club in London.

Now sadley he just sits in a chair in a care home as Alzheimers struck him down some 4 years ago.
