Did you Know..................

“Out of Bounds” posts between the 13th and 14th holes

When playing the 13th hole

The white posts marking the internal Out of Bounds, between the 13th and 14th holes, are an integral part of the course and as such relief must not be taken unless under penalty.

When playing the 14th hole (or if you are way off line from 16th or 17th)

These posts are deemed to be Immovable Obstructions.
When such a post interferes with a player’s swing or stance, relief may be taken in accordance with Rule 24-2b, i.e. a player may take a free drop within one club length of the nearest point of relief, which is not nearer the hole.

Note
Removal of these posts incurs a penalty of loss of hole in match play or two strokes in stroke play.

………………. Well you do now !
