In June Lee and James played in the Leicestershire Stroke play Championship at Glen Gorse where the top 15 qualified to a match play event the following two days - James shot 78 (+6) 15th place -
Lee shot 81 (+9) 35th place. Conditions were very windy. Unfortunately James lost in the 1st round of the match play. We have 4 big competitions coming up in August so more practice needed.

Coaching Update

Congratulations to Geoff Yates who recently passed his golf coaching qualifications and now is qualified to teach golf. He went to Barcelona on his training course to qualify with the World Golf Teachers Federation. There are now 3 qualified coaches Lee Challinor (club Professional PGA qualified) James Cushing (assistant professional PGA trainee) and Geoff Yates (WGTF qualified)
So please book lessons now.

We now have the very latest -state of the art- coaching equipment in the academy and this includes video replays of your swing. We dare you to give us a try- you never know your handicap may reduce!!
